What is the minimum usable size of underground conduit!?
I am running a 100 amp extension underground from my main breaker box to a sub-box in my garage using 220 foot of #1 aluminum cable and a #6 copper (or #4 aluminum) ground wire through conduit.
The carpenters placed a two-inch piece of conduit into the footings and up the wall to connect the sub-panel. Will it be sufficient to run the entire 220 feet through two-inch conduit or will I have to use larger conduit and an adapter at the garage?
I have 200amp service running through 2" conduit. you should not have a problem with fitting 100A
