MY BABY MONITOR IS NOT WORKING!! HELP!!!?
ok I very badly left old batteries in my tommee tippee SureSound® Ultimate Monitor and there was strange black stuff on the connectors between the portable bit and base I wiped it off and now its not working from the mains it looks like the top layer of metal has come off the connectors I put in new batteries and the portable bit is working
but not from the mains any ideas how to fix ?????
okay this thing cost £100 it has a movement sensor and thermometer and stuff need to fix not spend more
The only simple thing I can suggest is to clean the affected contacts with something slightly abrasive until they are bright.
Maybe some wire wool, a suede brush with metal bristles or a bit of fine glasspaper.
If that doesn't work, ask around if anyone knows an electronics hobbyist who will perhaps do the job for nothing.
